Here’s a snapshot of my latest creations : 10 unique projects that each reflect my personal style and passion for sewing.
1. blue satin wrap-over top
I fell in love with this soft and lightweight fabric, initially used to sew a gala dress for a friend. With the leftover material, I adapted the pattern to transform the gown into a chic wrap top.

2. denim bustier top
Inspired by the trend of workwear blazers, I designed a top that blends traditional tailoring elements, like the welt pocket, with a modern, figure-hugging bustier silhouette. The carefully chosen buttons add a refined touch.

3. satin skirt
Thrilled to acquire a large piece of blue satin, I created a long skirt with side slits for ease of movement. I finished it with an invisible zipper, giving it a polished look.

4. classic black dress
To explore the custom design capabilities of sewist.com, I created this timeless black dress. Combining elegance and simplicity, it’s a staple piece that fits perfectly.

5. tailored denim jacket
Inspired by biker-style denim jackets seen in shop windows, I designed my own fitted version. Three welt pockets and topstitching details bring an elevated, sophisticated finish.

6. necktie bag
Rediscovering my grandfather’s collection of beautiful neckties, I decided to repurpose them as bag straps. Paired with fabric scraps, this bag is both sustainable and uniquely stylish.

7. upcycled denim corset
Using a worn-out pair of jeans, I created a custom corset pattern to give the fabric a second life. I love the dynamic effect of the denim’s color variations.

8. asymmetrical knit top
This stretchy knit fabric was perfect for realizing a previously designed pattern for an asymmetrical top. It’s become one of my favorite evening pieces, blending comfort and striking style.

9. backless halter top
Inspired by trends spotted on Pinterest, I created my own version of a backless halter top using the Tropicana pattern by Patterncouture. The result is a light and elegant piece perfect for warm weather.

10. gingham trousers
After designing my gingham top, I was inspired to sew matching trousers with the same fabric. Though the silhouette is simple, the charm lies in the small fabric bows adorning each side of the legs, adding a playful, unique touch.
