Crochet and knitting projects

Here’s a collection of 9 handcrafted projects, celebrating my passion for crochet, knitting, and embroidery. Each piece is a reflection of my personal style and creative journey.

1. granny square balaclava

Inspired by the current trend of crochet granny squares, I designed this fashionable balaclava. It’s both cozy and a bold statement piece, combining style and warmth for colder days.

2. the lily cardigan

Using Ara’s pattern, I crafted this dreamy, fairy-like cardigan. Each flower required meticulous attention, but the time spent on the intricate details makes me very proud of the final result.

3. basic open-knit sweater

This was my first major knitting project, made possible with artbykaraleez’s pattern. The frosty blue mohair yarn creates a soft, cloud-like texture that gives the sweater an airy, ethereal look.

4. v-day snoop

Artbykaraleez’s vibrant and original sweater design was a true test of my skills. It combined various techniques, including multiple stitch types, color changes, and back-loop crochet, making it one of the most intricate and time-intensive pieces I’ve ever made.

5. heart fingerless gloves

I fell in love with Lindsey’s delicate design for these fingerless gloves. Working with fine details and a size 3 crochet hook was a rewarding challenge that sharpened my precision skills.

6. the jasper jumper

I recreated the pattern by The Knit Edit using mohair yarn. The result is an ultra-soft and cozy jumper that’s a joy to wear.

7. granny square bag

Starting with simple granny squares, I created a charming and colorful crochet bag. To ensure durability, I added a custom-fitted lining, making it both practical and stylish.

8. crochet jumper

For this project, I designed my own crochet sweater, incorporating bold purple mohair stripes. The unique pattern makes it a standout piece in my wardrobe and a creative highlight in my crochet journey.

9. embroidery

I also enjoy customizing my clothes and accessories by adding simple, minimalist embroidery details. These subtle accents bring a unique charm to each piece, making them truly one of a kind while reflecting my personal style.
